What is Ice Fishing?

Ice Fishing is a live-presented Evolution game show centered on a virtual 53-segment money wheel. The main outcomes are Leaf 1, Leaf 2, Lil' Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds. The three fish colours open different fishing bonus games when their segments land. Evolution also offers an All Bonuses bet spot that covers all three bonus types. See Evolution's official game description.

Important distinction: This is a guide to a casino game show—not outdoor ice fishing. Familiarity with the game mechanics cannot predict or control the next result.
The round sequence

Four moments. One outcome.

Each round follows the same basic structure. The live operator interface provides the authoritative countdown, rules and available outcomes.

01

Choose a route

During the betting window, eligible players can select Leaf 1, Leaf 2, Lil' Blues, Big Oranges, Huge Reds or All Bonuses. Some operators may allow several simultaneous wagers, subject to their rules.

02

Watch the boost

After betting closes, random wheel segments may receive multipliers up to 10×. Leaf and bonus-category boosts work differently under Evolution's rules.

03

Follow the wheel

The virtual wheel spins. Its pointer determines the winning category. A Leaf landing resolves on the main wheel, while a fish-colour landing triggers the related bonus game.

04

Reveal the catch

In a fishing bonus, the host reels in a fish carrying a prize multiplier. Any qualifying pre-spin bonus boost is applied according to the official rules.

Understand the choices

Six ways to follow the wheel

The named betting spots do not all have the same winning frequency or payout mechanism. Understanding the distinction is more useful than guessing which category feels overdue.

Bet descriptions based on Evolution's official game overview. Actual stake limits, payouts and access depend on the operator and jurisdiction.

Why the wheel matters

Segments, not signals.

The wheel's 53 positions set the reference frequency of each landing category. Published reference allocations commonly describe 23 Leaf 1, 23 Leaf 2, four Lil' Blues, two Big Oranges and one Huge Reds segment. These counts should be cross-checked against the current rules of the table being discussed.

A category's landing frequency is not the same as its return to player (RTP). Payout size, boosts, bonus distributions and caps also affect the expected return.

After betting closes

How multipliers work

Evolution describes two modifier patterns during the pre-spin reveal. Neither modifier guarantees that the selected category will land.

Leaf boosts

One selected wheel segment

A single random wheel segment may receive a 3×, 4×, 5×, 7× or 10× multiplier. The game's official rules determine how the boost affects a qualifying Leaf result.

Fishing bonus boosts

An entire bonus colour

Segments linked to one bonus type may receive a 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, 6×, 7×, 8× or 10× modifier, increasing qualifying fish multipliers if that category lands.

A large multiplier on screen is not a prediction of where the wheel will stop. Read the full multiplier guide.
Beyond the wheel

Meet the three fishing bonuses

A bonus game begins when the wheel lands on the corresponding fish-colour segment. Viewers may watch; only qualifying wagers participate in the payout.

Know before you play

Three misunderstandings to avoid

“A bonus must be due.”

No. Assuming independent outcomes, a long stretch without a red does not raise the probability of red on the next spin. Historical results describe the past.

“A headline prize is typical.”

No. Large advertised multipliers require particular combinations of events and may be restricted by table-specific payout limits.

“RTP tells me my next result.”

No. Return to Player is a theoretical long-run measure under stated rules, not a promise about one wager or one session.

“A simulator uses live results.”

Not unless a tool explicitly documents and verifies its live source. Our planned independent demo is a teaching model, not a feed from an Evolution table.

Quick answers

How to Play FAQs

Is Ice Fishing a slot game?

No. Evolution describes Ice Fishing as a live game show centered on a virtual 53-segment money wheel and fishing bonus features.

What happens when a Leaf segment lands?

A qualifying Leaf 1 or Leaf 2 wager resolves directly on the main wheel according to the applicable payout rules.

What does All Bonuses cover?

The All Bonuses spot covers the three fishing bonus categories. The exact stake, payout and RTP terms must be checked at the relevant game table.

Can you watch a fishing bonus without betting on it?

Evolution states that players may observe bonus rounds, but only players with eligible corresponding bonus wagers participate in the payout.

Do previous spins affect the next result?

Past independent results do not change the probability of the next wheel outcome. Streaks and gaps are not reliable prediction signals.

Can I learn the rules without wagering real money?

Yes. Read this guide, review the probability explanations and use an independently labeled no-stake simulator when available. Actual official demo access may vary by location.
